general ramblings
I haven't posted for a while so I thought I'd better write a quick update on what has been happening while I wait for Andrew to meet me to walk home.
So so far I have my dress and we have booked the church and a reception venue. We have booked St-Tims church hall in Crookes because, at the moment, me and Andrew would really like to be able to organise all of the different bits of the wedding and the reception e.g. the decorations, the entertainment etc. This is because it means we can have the wedding we want to and we don't have to have anything the same as anyone else. I am sure that as time goes on, and panic sets in, I may go off this idea but at the moment we have a whole year and lots of helpful friends and family so let the deligation begin.
So far Elenor has very kindly agreed to be in charge of organising something for us which I was going to post here but I think it will be better if it is a suprise so I am not going to. Don't ask Elenor either, even when she is drunk because it will ruin* the wedding.
Andrew's mum has also been volunteered to make goodie bags/boxes for all the little kids to keep them occupied while we are all drinking ourselves stupid and dancing around like mad things.
oops better go. Andrew will be waiting.
* may not actually ruin the wedding but will probably upset kate a bit.
